“This book kept me engrossed from beginning to end, as much of the story is based on a real life. I could feel that reality. I was impressed by this young teenage Armenian boy’s ability to outsmart, outwit, out-maneuver, and out-strategize trained enemy leaders during the tragic Armenian genocide. Beyond that was experiencing Zaven’s deep sensitivity juxtaposed with that rough-tough exterior. A great read!”
